Facebook - world's #1 social network
We wrote earlier this summer about WordPress, an ultimate blogging platform, which by the way drives this site, launching its own URL shortener based on wp.me.
Today, the second popular site on the web, and world's #1 social network, Facebook, has launch another shortener FB.me of course. FB.me is already used on mobiles, for link sharing and is spreading quick.ly indeed.
So, now, your favourite TLD (top-level domain) extension's fan page can be found on http://fb.me/dotme - hardly could be even shorter.

A recent article on re.acciona.com, a Spanish green initiative, talks about marketeers opening new frontiers in advertisement. New attractive slogans, not just boring .coms, impress and bring you new customers, at least their attention to start with.

The campaign is bringing up all powerful Re_ words. Well, we looked in the dictionary and have found 6,693 of them. Domainingwise, many of them verbs and adjectives, put together with .me are making premium names indeed. Most of them are registered already, like really.me, republican.me, or replay.me. We have seen pretty much of "Kiss Me" products and services already. It is everywhere on the street these days. People must just love kissing indeed.

Resu.me logo
For your review, a good and jingling service based on resu.me hack. Just create your.name.resu.me with all possible information, skills, portfolio, experience, education, awards, honours, certifications, networks, ... sync it with your LinkedIn account and show off with, say, john.smith.resu.me in your e-mail footer.
Sure.ly a good way to get your curriculum vitae get noticed - a priceless thing these days.
Small historical notice: domain name resu.me was auctioned at the very first land rush in August 2008 for $5,256.00 (after 76 bids) - but the potential buyer failed to pay. Then it was picked up on another post land rush auction last April after 151 bids for just $1,030.00. A cheap.ly bargain indeed. Well done guys!

pp.ua logo {in Ukrainian} - "domain for people"
The rumour has it that ServiceOnline company the owner and the registry of pp.ua (which they position to stay for "people" or "private person") is about to launch another free service based on me.ua. ME.UA will probably mimic PP.UA and will just bring a splash of new domains on the Ukrainian market.
ServiceOnline is already selling third level domains based on in.ua extension along with rival unconventional ccSLDs (country-code Second Level Domains) biz.ua and co.ua. The registration will be free of charge if you sign up to their services.
Although, pp.ua with 817,000 indexed pages, is no match to earlier discussed me.uk with 12,700,000 indexed pages, considering the success of in.ua with 22,800,000 indexed pages, and by offering free services - the company stands good chances in a country like Ukraine - where demand for budget products is certain.ly in demand.

.ME registry is now considering establishing numerous partnership on premium .me names, say about.me, fax.me, etcetera. Just like they did two month ago with wp.me. All you need is to convince our Montenegrin friends that you are able to build a significant business around the acquired domain. Either by providing good traffic (15k of unique visitors daily) or cash. If don't have that much traffic yet - you would be able to settle with a small down-payment (EUR20k).
