Indeed, if you are preparing for your earlier retirement, Thai.Me is a good name to keep and to play with, while other develop it for you, while you are sipping your cocktails on some paradise island in Thailand. Like this one:

Brands-and-Jingles decided to spin it off because none of our team speaks Thai and we shall focus predominant.ly on European markets.

Funny enough Thai.Me is sometimes jingled with Tie.Me 😉

Sold just for 500 – the only bidder was the initial one. Another great concept went off cheap.ly.

Shrink.me is cool. Thai.Me was not paid for during the land rush and then re-aucitoned in May for the nominal price [ http://dot-me.of-cour.se/2009/04/08/post-land-rush-domain-auctions-april-may-2009/#comment-957 ]

Cloud.me was recent.ly sold by a guy from UAE to an ausy on Sedo for US$22,500.

One year ago, cloud.me was auctioned during land rush phase, the final bid was just $105 + $99.98 of the initial fee. Th investor nice.ly recovered his investments. Hopeful.ly the new owner has some good plans for it too.

Reflecting back on the land rush… many good names were to grab those days.

In fact, this domain was part of WorldWide.Me portfolio http://worldwide.me/

More of the interesting names are still for grab: German.Me, Indian.Me, Irish.Me …
